Anatomía de lo Efímero - Digital I

ABOUT THESE WORKS

These works (as every esthetic piece of work) have different levels of significance.
One of them is referred to the existing duality between man and his environment, between natural and artificial.
The dead birds symbolize the natural-geological world, whereas the typographical signs symbolize the presence of man and the need of communication through language.
I have tried to find a similarity between bird morphology and the calligraphic signs; whereas in some other cases, I have set a strong contrast between symbols or main objects and the bird images.
It also exists a reference to the passage of time, to the expiration of some things and to the persistence of some others. To the effort of the human being for the transcendence of their own condition.
The ancestral and the contemporary are interlaced in a very same space and time reflecting reciprocally.
